Ajith Kumar (born in Hyderabad, India on May 1, 1971) is an Indian film actor. He began his career doing various jobs in Andhra Pradesh, while also attending a theatre for stage plays, to follow his dream to act. After three years of acting in minor roles and small-budget ventures in Indian films, Ajith Kumar gained the Indian cinema’s attention in 1995 by playing the role of Jeeva in Aasai, his first blockbuster and since then he has acted in over forty Indian films, with his main option being the Tamil Cinema industry. He is nicknamed Ultimate Star by his fans and credited as such in his movies. He has high fan followings in the Indian subcontinent, Europe and The Far East. Ajith Kumar, before retiring in 2005, was a motor car racer, taking part in Formula 3 championships for the minor outfit, Mango Racing. He was in 2004, India’s third best driver after Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandok.
An accomplished dramatic actor and celebrity, he has won several awards at a regional award including State Awards from Tamil Nadu. Ajith Kumar performs predominantly in leading roles in high-budget and major studio films, ranging from romantic comedies and drama to science fiction and action thrillers. His most popular films include Kadhal Kottai (1996), Vaali (1999), Citizen(2001), Villain (2002), and Varalaru (2006). He is married to fellow Indian actress, Shalini.
The most expected movie for this diwali is undoubtedly Thala’s Ajit’s BILLA. The shooting was shelved because ajit suffered from some health problems and now as he has recouped the shooting is back on track. Currently shooting in a very ultra stylish set at AVM, the crew is to leave back to Malaysia to shoot 3 songs and 1 song will be captured in India. Nirav shah and Editor Sreekar Prasad along with the captain of BILLA Vishnuvardhan are planning to shoot all songs and scenes in the best possible way so that it is very stylish as well as reachable to the common man. Songs are said have been given some kind of pop-art effect to make it look different and awesome. With dasavatharam almost postponed and not a sure release for deepavali, billa being next big release this year is sure to lap up with most prominent theatres. Indeed we are all waiting for another Attagasamana THALA deepavali!
Expectations are soaring sky high on Thala’s BILLA for several reasons. One of them is undoubtedly the young maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music. Yuvan will be teaming up with Ajit for the 2nd time after the blockbuster DHEENA. As per the film‘s crew we managed to get in touch with the director Vishnuvardhan who revealed few facts about the film’s music. As per him, there are 5 songs in the film out of which 1 are MY NAME IS BILLA and another is VETHALAYA POTENDI remix. There is Also theme music for billa is supposedly rocking and mind blowing stylish. He says “this movie will not only take Thala to a totally different frontier but also yuvan’s music Talents will come to the fore”. The mega movie’s most expected audio is expected to be Released in October 1st week
